Water Us 💥

Episode Six, with founder, Lilah McDonald of The Public Water Project and Water Us.

A conversation with Lilah McDonald, an 11-year-old founder passionate about helping others and starting as early as possible. Her pure motivations and determination to do her bit for the community blew me away.

The Public Water Project / Foundation is a charity campaigning to bring more water fountains to public places within Auckland. Water Us is a social enterprise selling premium bamboo toilet paper with 50% of the profits being donated to The Public Water Foundation, to buy drinking fountains for New Zealand's parks and playgrounds.

All with a purpose to reduce the use of plastic bottles and decrease the consumption of sugary drinks.

I am inspired by the next generation, how they see the world, business opportunities, what they find important, and focus their time on. Lilah is a great representation of the generation rising up!
